Hello! I use zotac ion ITX-D with hdmi connected to my Philips TV. Also i I have an microlab ah500h(5.1 SS) connected to XBMC PC through analog jacks;

so the problem is xbmc ignoring my asound.conf. If i start play any movie in xbmc the sound still cames throught hdmi, but if i start mplayer from console with music it comes through my 5.1..


What i need? I need to sound comes through jacks and hdmi same time! so i can choose which sound i need by turning it on.

In the audio hardware settings of XBMC you can specify a custom sound device. Just enter the name of the sound device you created with asound.conf

THX, temar. but i solved it other way. i just delete xbmc-live and install xbmc.. now i have swithcher between the hdmi and analog! thx again!
