[Windows] Problem with exit
#1
I am new to XBMC and I am trying it on XP SP3. One problem, though, so far:

I have installed xbmc-r35068-Dharma_beta4.exe and have not made any changes since last clean reinstall. When I come to quit XBMC via the exit button, XBMC just hangs most of the time and it seems that the only thing to do is push the laptop's power button and do a complete reboot.
-I have tried alt+F4, mentioned in a post, but that works very infrequently.
-I managed to alt-tab to the desktop and killed the XBMC process; I then found that I had to reinstall XBMC...

I have done some searches here, but not found the solution, so it must be me! I would greatly appreciate some help.

TIA, Nick

Edit:
It appears that the XBMC system setting 'Use a full screen window rather than true full screen' resolves the issue. So far so good.

I had the same too. If you disable the "show recently added on homescreen" option it fixed this.
