Hi,
for those like me, that want to be able to browse their XBMC movies on the desktop without any conversion steps, I wrote a little tool:
It's not designed to be very cute nor to do any modification on the database, it's just a browser designed to categorize the movies using various filters, so managing a large library is a bit easier. It requires .NET 4 and runs on Windows OS'es only.
The configuration is a bit old-style using a configuration file, but has 3 self-explaining settings only (config.xml):
dbFile: Path to XBMC video database file (MyVideos34.db)
favActors: Comma-separated list of actors for fast browsing their work.
imdbBase: Just modify the country code here (.com, .de, .fr, ...), used to show the movie page of the currently selected movie.
