It is not skin related but there is a small bug into Advanced Launcher concerning the favourite creation for stand alone launcher (favourites for Advanced Launcher itself, files launchers or items work correctly). The problem only occurs with standalone launcher and will be surely fixed by version 1.10.15 of Advanced Launcher.(2013-01-16, 02:51)t0mbi Wrote: Hey guys, im new to this so bear with me.Do you have the same problem using another skin... like Cirrus Extended v2 or Alaska Revisited for example?
I have Frodo and Aeon Nox. I have installed Advanced Launcher for the purpose of running shortcuts on my main menu to launch Hulu and Netflix. AL does this fine. But my question is:
When i select the shortcut from the menu it quickly shows an empty folder (must be a directory in AL) before launching the program, then on exit it dumps me out back on the empty folder, i then have to press backspace to go back to the main menu
is there a way to not see AL at all and for the shortcut to dump me back straight to the menu?
If you cannot wait the bugfix, you can simply manually fix it. Close XBMC, and open your XBMC/userdata/favourites.xml file and found the line corresponding to your Netflix or other application launcher and replace the function "ActivateWindows(..." by "PlayMedia(...". Then restart XBMC and into the skin settings, delete/create a new shortcut from the modified favourite.
Thank you for your precious feedback.
