I'm having problems with nes emulator JNES. when i try to launch a ROM from the launcher it gives me this error "directdraw: unable to create surface lpddsp"t looks like XBMC and JNES use the same graphical ressource (directdraw) generating comflict and errors. The only thing you can try is to use a .bat script that will force XBMC to be closed befaore starting JNES. You will found such kind of script here : http://www.gwenael.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=6
this does not happen with psone and ps2 emulators pSX and PCSX2

Instead of creating a stand-alone launcher, create a file launcher with chrome, that will manage small html files redirecting to the page you want. Here is the WIKI page : http://www.gwenael.org/xbmc/index.php?ti...um#Windows
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but seems its a simple answer.
If you are under Windows, if think it is also possible to do it using internet explorer .url files (http://www.gwenael.org/xbmc/index.php?ti...er#Windows) or also create shorcut files starting chrome with command line indicating which webpage you want to see (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyfRa7gygEc).
