Anyone else who has the same problem? I've tried several times with different setups but it just won't work. The scraping seems to work but when it's done scraping the list is empty! Clues anyone? Are you sure to have indicated the right files extension? Could you post here the content of the launchers.xml file to see how is configurated your launcher and if the roms have been listed or not?

And by using XBMCbuntu this is not your case. Under XBMCbuntu, XBMC is running without any desktop/windows manager. So whe n you want to start another external application you have problems. To avoid this you can :Quote:Seems like PCSX-R is trying to start a CDROM, but is not able to found it. Have you followed the WIKIpage instruction for the command line : http://www.gwenael.org/xbmc/index.php?ti...X-Reloaded ?
Turns out it was a bug in the latest version of PCSXR, downloading and compiling from svn fixed the issue, thanks! Btw I have another question, in the latest version of xbmcbuntu leaving the Toggle Xbmc to windowed mode off causes the screen to just go black and not launch the emulator/rom. Is there a way around this? I'm only wondering because leaving the option on makes everything work correctly except Xbmc shrinks to a small window in the corner and it's just not pleasing aesthetically speaking haha. This is obviously not an end of the world issue but it would be nice to have a way to keep Xbmc from doing that when launching the rom, giving the machine a much more streamlined appearance,
- Boot your system into a light windows manager (like openbox) and then automatically start XBMC.
- Create a script (.sh) that you will be started from Advanced Launcher that will start a light windows manager and then automatically launch your application.
- Use another linux distribution with a windows manager.
