as you can see the listing of chrome-browser in favourites action starts with 'playmedia' is this whats affecting playback?

I can't narrow the focus of a forum search to find it, and 480 pages is a lot to read thru, so I thought I'd just ask. I have tried searching though...Yes, Advanced launcher is working with version 12.1 of XBMC.
Thanks!

I installed airfoil to stream music from xbmc to airport express connected speakers but once it was installed on my computer, (windows 8) advanced launcher wouldn't run any more. Bit of an odd conflict but as soon as I removed airfoil it started working again. I installed it again just to make sure and again advanced launcher stopped working. Airfoil wasn't even running?? Hope this helps someone

This problem occurs only for Windows operating systems and depend of : the application you want to start, the version of XBMC, the version of Windows, and the XBMC video/audio setup you are using. Here is the my actual suggestion : "Audio" set to DirecSound, "Video" set to True Fullscreen and Advanced Launcher "Toggle XBMC into Windowed Mode" option set to OFF (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1324197). But it could be different on your system. BTW, there is also some solutions using .bat or autoit scripts to force application to regain focus : http://www.gwenael.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=199
Sorry if i'm breaching any thread etiquette by posting here. I have searched for an answer for several days now. Hopefully its easy and my search criterion were just not exact enough. Any way, the problem: When using Advanced Launcher (latest version from the developer repo) to launch a standalone executable (Windows Media Center) from Windows 7 (32bit) XBMC 12.1, it launches WMC perfectly. I can go about my business; easy peasy. But when i close WMC, it doesn't FULLY return focus back to XBMC. WMC closes, XBMC returns, but not in the foreground; the Windows taskbar has focus. I have the video settings set correctly per the instructions at the beginning of the thread. XBMC is NOT minimized, but the windows taskbar is on top of the xbmc window so I have to use my mouse to click on the XBMC icon on the taskbar, and then the xbmc window returns to the foreground (focus).
Before i go into a rube-goldberg solution with EventGhost to correct this, i was hoping the community at large has experienced this, or something similar, and may have some advice on other methods to try.
Thanks so much!
Stu

Created 3 advanced launcher (emulators / Games / Software)This probleme is due to the fact that your duplicate version of Advanced Launcher have really similar name and XBMC, since Frodo release, is not anymore able to make difference between each duplicate version. The only way to solve it, is to use actually the GIT version of Advanced Launcher that include launchers categories support... After this version there will be no need to use duplicate version of Advanced Launcher anymore.
If I enter the emulator or the Software, when I go out (ESC) and enter the Games, Emulators appears or Programs (depending on which was the last to be accessed)
The problem does not happen if I access games and then Programs or Emulators, not even access programs and then access Emulators
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Remembering that: it was the original games (Advanced Launcher) Programs, the second (advanced Launcher 2) Emulators, the third (advanced Launcher 3)

If you want/mean to have XBOX gamepad control into XBMC, ask XBMC devellopers to add it. If you want/mean to have XBOX gamepad control into your started applications, setup your operating system (Windows, Linux) and your applications to have it.
