But I know that other system emulators, like WinUAE for Amiga systems, are able to manage several ROM or ISO files at thr same time.
Or is it possible when I launch my emulator to freeze XBMC until I close the emulator ?
Edit :
I've tried a script =>
Named : Launcher.bat
pssuspend XBMC.exe
e: => Installation folder of my XBMC
cd "D:\Consoles\PlayStation\Emulateur\pcsxr" => Folder of my emulator
pcsxr.exe %1 => Emulator name
pssuspend -r XBMC.exe
I put the script in my ROM folder and the same script in my emulator folder, but it doesn't work.
Concerning your script, try first to remove the e: line and try to add double quotes around the passed parameter (%1):
Code:
pssuspend XBMC.exe
cd "D:\Consoles\PlayStation\Emulateur\pcsxr"
pcsxr.exe "%1"
pssuspend -r XBMC.exe
Also take care to:
Not forget to replace the pcsxr.exe application by your Launcher.bat into Advanced Launcher.
And to check that Windows PSTools is installed into on your system (Windows directory)?
Also I have open a ticket on XBMC Bugtracker concerning the CPU usage of XBMC when this one is not used or is minimized. Normally with the future version of XBMC, this CPU usage will be drastically reduced, so the use of the pssuspend application may not be necessary anymore.
