I have searched through this thread but still seem to be completely lost. Can anyone help me out with getting this set up?It is possible to start an application with wine with a command line like this :
Code:
wine "c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe"
where c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe is the virtual windows path to the application you want to start. So if you want to start World of Warcraft, the command line will be something like this (I'm not sure at all it is the rightl path) :
Code:
wine "c:\program files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe"
So into Advanced Launcher you just have a to create a stand alone launcher with theses parameters :
Application: /usr/bin/wine
Arguments: "c:\program files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe"
Instead of using the virtual windows path, you can also use the real linux path. It will be something like this : ~/.wine/drive_c/program_files/World of Warcraft/WoW.exe.
