I have serious trouble with sound on my machine.
I was running Frodo v. 12 and everthing worked fine (i use Advanced Launcher to start spotify from a openbox script). I had sound and everything was perfect.
Then i decided to try the new Gotham version of XBMC and voila, no sound in spotify so i decided to revert back to Frodo (which had been updated to 12.3) and now i still dont have any sound in advanced launcher spotify.
My setup
Zotac Zbox HD-ID40
XBMCbuntu Frodo 12.3
sound over optical cable
aplay -l
~/.asoundrc
I dont understand was has gone wrong. Sound plays fine in movies and tv series in XBMC.
