If I set "Action on XBMC Playing Media" to "Let Play", the expected result is that media will keep playing if I start a launcher, right?A modification to audio have been done with version 2.5.4 of Advanced Launcher. Could you please confirm me that using the prior version 2.5.3 of Advanced Launcher fixe the problem? http://www.gwenael.org/Repository%20Arch...-2.5.3.zip
That's not what happens. Instead, having the option set to this will cause XBMC to become entirely mute upon starting a files launcher. All audio in the program is lost, and no amount of messing with volume and audio settings will bring it back short of exiting XBMC and restarting it. This happens regardless of whether or not there's media playing in the background.
Note that this only affects files launchers such as emulated games and digibooks, not standalone launchers. Also, the other two options for the setting work as expected. Do you have an idea on what the problem might be?
ADDENDUM: I think I found another quirk related to this. If I change the setting to "Pause", the last previously queued playlist will restart upon re-entering XBMC. This will happen even if the playlist is finished or I manually stopped it. It gets pretty annoying at times. It happens in launchers of all types. Is this ho it's supposed to work?
