therealjoeblow Wrote:Thanks, I did #3, it's actually quite easy editing the XML in a text editor and just copying/pasting the info.I will need more information to help you : XBMC version and part of your launchers.xml file corresponding to the PDF Viewer. Please post them here if you want a tracking.
One last issue, when I launch the .PDF viewer, XBMC minimizes itself to the taskbar, my PDF viewer launches fullscreen, all as expected.
However, when I exit the PDF viewer, I'm returned to the desktop, and XBMC stays minimized to the taskbar. When I click on the taskbar icon, then XBMC goes back to normal fullscreen.
This is on WinXPx86 SP3 - is there a setting that I need to enable to have XBMC get back control and go back to fullscreen automatically when the external app closes?
Thanks again for the help!

I just want to say I believe I have enough experience in python/XML/XBMC to help you with this plugin especially the folders idea. Currently I'm working on a big project for a cyber cafe solution utilizing XBMC as the client machines shell, so I guess I'll be away for a while. feel free to throw at me small fixes to do if you don't have time for them.Thank you for your help proposition, but now any Advanced Launcher support and tracking will be given here.
When I'm finished with that project. I'll be really happy to pitch in. I'll go and check the google code entry later and try to help there by patches and stuff.
Again thank you for the good work. Maybe one day this addon will be bundled with IBM compatible PC versions by default. Who knows...
