I upgraded from previous stable release, to Dharma RC1 yesterday, and have playback problems on some MKV TV rips.
When the video goes black and commercial is supposed to run (of course stripped from the ripped release), the videos freezes for a second or two on the next scene, before it slowly/choppy starts to move play again. This happens every time at the places in the video where the commercial break has been removed (I only assume it's commercial break, network logo dissappears).
One time it froze completely, and XBMC eventually crashed and the sound in OS X stopped working - had to reboot to fix it. Unfortunately i don't have any log.
I did not have this problem in the previous version of XBMC. Also plays back fine on PC.
One sample file is mad.men.s04e03.720p.hdtv.x264-immerse.mkv - At 26:30 the freeze and crash occured.
