so i got an 8" apad last night (running 2.2 froyo) and it has a lot of potential for a primary xbmc interface. A few issues with the tablet that i thought i'd bring to your attention:

• the 'remote control' screen doesn't scale. it just sits nestled in the upper left hand corner.
  
  
• the 'remote control' screen only goes into landscape mode if i spin the device counter clockwise. if i rotate it clockwise it stays with the vertical layout.
  
  
• the 'tv' browser only is flipped 180 degrees.
  
  
• the 'now playing' screen doesn't have a landscape mode.
  

love the remote though.

Same issue here. As far as I know this will be fixed in the next release.

Any idea when the new version will be released approximately?

Same here for all those issues on my Advent Vega.
