Absolutely fantastic addon, giftie
I just wanted to register for the forum so I could post how I got it to work (using Beta 3 and the latest pre-Eden version). Sorry if this has been covered, but I thought it might help someone (or giftie's troubleshooting).
Initially, I had set up the correct folder structure and configured the addon appropriately. However, every time I would start a movie using the 'Cinema' button and then selecting the movie from the dialog box that appeared, the movie would start without my Feature Intros, Trailers, etc.
After testing a bunch of movies (with no luck), I finally got to one movie that didn't appear in the dialog box. Since I figured it wouldn't work properly with a movie that didn't appear in the dialog box, I pressed the Back button on my remote to return to my movie list. But wait! The Movie Theatre Intro played, but skipped my Coming Attractions and Trailer. Now we're getting somewhere!
I went back to the movies that didn't work, clicked the 'Cinema' button but this time I didn't select the correct movie in the dialog box. Instead, I just pressed the Back button on my remote and it worked again. Unfortunately, still no Coming Attractions or Trailer.
I went into the addon's Configure page and disabled the options to pick a trailer 'by the movie's MPAA rating' and 'by the movie's genre' since I figured there was a chance that it wasn't reading that info correctly (because I wasn't picking a movie from the dialog box). I tried the movie again, pressing the Back button at the dialog box, and this time everything worked.... Movie Theatre Info, Coming Attractions, Trailer, Feature Intro, etc.
I'm not sure why selecting the correct movie in the dialog box doesn't work, but I'm guessing that the reason why the Coming Attractions Intro and Trailers don't work when you press the Back button (instead of selecting the movie from the dialog box) is due to the fact that without the movie information, the addon can't correctly choose a trailer with the right MPAA rating or genre. So, when you disable them in the Configure page of the addon, the addon is able to pick any trailer to play, thereby removing the issue.
Hope this all made sense and it helps someone And once again, sorry if this has been posted, but I checked a few pages back and didn't see anything.
Edit: I should note that for the trailers, I selected 'Apple Movie Trailers (newest)' and 'Stream' and I've enabled the XBMC Apple Movie Trailer addons (as indicated by giftie).
