I'd be interested to hear the answer to the naming convention question above. If the naming convention for the HT SlideVision slides needs to be changed I will be more than happy to do so.
Thanks in advance,

I don't think your naming convention has any issues. The whole problem was that I didn't know I needed the xml files in the slides folder I was using.
I've downloaded a crap load of slides from a few different sources for this. It appears to be split between how you did it with no spaces and an underscore before the a,b, or c.
I do have another question though. As of now my slides are in many different folders... named for the movie or category. Is there a way to have XBMC pull from multiple folders? I don't really want all of my slides in one folder but I also don't want to necessarily be limited to one movie or category.
Is it like this in all skins or is this an MQ5 issue?
It would also be cool if you could setup different slide scenarios for different movies. For example say I was going to watch Lord of the Rings.... I may want it to only use LOTR slides for these movies. Or the same with other specific movies. Then have a general setup that would just pull from all the slide folders for all the other movies that you may not have specific slides for.
Though it would not be through XBMC you could use the naming convention system I have set up for the .mkv movies to accomplish a themed slide program. You would need to play them through a media player such as VLC in advanced open. You'll notice the .mkv's have a prfix of aa, ab, ac etc. you'd just need to rip your feature movie and add the prefix of ad in this scenario. You would then change the two letter prefix of the slide .mkv videos to the alphabetical order you want them to play in. Below is an example of the directory structure of the .mkv files and one of the included .mkv slide movies.
