Hello,
while a movie plays, you press the pause button or stop button, the audio is not really quiet: a terrible backgroud sound (like tinnitus ).. Everytime you resume the movie and press again pause, the sound is an other...
after stopping the movie, it is still not quiet, so I started a putty console, with alsamixer unmute the spdif channel: it's ok, no background sounds to hear.
I tested this:
1. test start a movie (mkv, dts): pause, resume, pause, resume ........ stop..
---> after every pause and stop the spdif channel is not quiet.
2. test start a movie (mkv, dts): mute, pause, unmute, resume, mute, pause, unmute, ........, resume, mute, stop, unmute
(mute/unmute: manually via remote control)
---> no background sound during pause and after stop.
it is possible to implement this "mute and unmute" before/after pause and stop in source codes??
spdif cable from dolby receiver unplugged: quiet.. it's not my receiver.. with an other input and other cable the same behavior.
thx...
my hardware: zotac zbox id11, 2gb ram, 100 gb hdd. via hdmi and spdif with harman kardon avs 360 connected. Latest Dharma release (10.0)
