Nice, I was using some pretty good free converters already, but the way Handbrake handles encoding must have done the trick. Several of the newly converted bumps are working fine now and are interleaving fine as well. Some bumps still are not showing up at all, and some channels are not interleaving their bumps, but what I have now is good enough. Can't have everything I suppose. Thanks for the help Mark.

Have you done anything with the setting "Hide short videos" in PTV? I have mine enabled and set to 120. Perhaps you could check that setting?

I am trying to run this addon on my eden setup on an atv2. which skins work best with this addon?

also I am trying to add some streaming channels that I have added via 1channel. I have added them to my library and they are scanned into the library and show up. I however cannot get them to show as a channel. I added them in the config wizard as a tvshow and the epg just skips the channel. How do I get these to show up?

PTV was not developed to use live streaming channels. It is supposed to be for videos you have local to your computer or network. If anyone gets it to work, I believe it is by accident. There is a fork that someone was working on that you may have better luck with.

Thanks Amelandbor!

OK, a little progress, but I'm not sure what the problem is. My system is Frodo RC2/XBMCbuntu,reading library from nfs mounted via the XBMC gui.

It looks like the scraping works OK, but there is some failure when it writes the .m3u I think. Here's the debug portion of the xbmc log:

This is channel with 1 TV series which is correctly tagged with add-on data. Any ideas?
Jason - Thanks for the update! Working good so far in both Windows and OpenELEC for me. EPG is definitely faster now. Much more usable. Thanks a ton! I was really missing PTV in Frodo. I do have a couple requests if you don;t mind:

1. I know a few of us bugged you for some time about adding the season and episode number, but it is now duplicated. You get something like 1x01 beofre the episode name and (S1 E1) after the episode name. Can you remove one of them?

2. If possible, could you add the start and end time to the description in both the EPG and the info overlay? I think it would just add that last little bit of authenticity to PTV since DirecTV includes it and so so some cable guides I've seen.

Again, thanks for the update and this wonderful addon. [/quote]
I skinned it for SiO2 how should i give You the skin files?

I am using the default configuration of PseudoTv and I don't know what is channel sharing so I guess the answer is no.
thanks.
Hi - Is it just me or are streaming shows from 1channel no longer working?

I tried the same thing, added the shows into my library and then made a channel and the EPG just skips over the channel. Wish it worked as this would be great to have it integrated.

At least I know it's not just me. This functionality used to work fine. Any chance of it coming back Jason?
@ Jason

Just trying to figure something on PseudoTV concerning video playback aspect ratio.

PseudoTV seems to ingore my XBMC setting to stretch 4:3 content to 16:9.
So while any 4:3 tv episode is strechted when played from directly the library,
it will show up with black bars on the left/right when played on PseudoTV channels.

Is there a way to force 16:9 stretching?

Cheers,
mdpg
Got the same problem with smb on OSX.... the network shares are defintively accessible via guest user:

is there a way of defining the username/password it uses to connect?

Having same issue on Frodo RC2 and the latest tarball from stable-pre branch on github

Not sure what the deal is, when I change sources.xml and the paths in mysql database to just smb://192.168.1.113 from smb://xbmc:[email protected] it works just fine. If I make the change to get the channels generated, if I change everything back after the channels get generated PseudoTV will still work.

This is my first experience with PseudoTV in years so I'm not sure if it would be wise to try an earlier version of XBMC or PseudoTV in order to get this going.
Ive tried searching this thread, the forums, and google for my answer but I cant seem to find an answer. I have a channel set up for the FOX network. I have approx 9 shows setup as the FOX network using PseudoTV Manager. No matter how many time I try scanning and rescanning via the force reset, That 70s Show will not populate in the EPG. It doesnt appear at all. I even tried switching its network to hopefully get it to scan into a different channel and it failed to show up then as well. So then I took all my FOX network channel shows and set all but two episodes in each show as "watched". Then I set a channel rule on the FOX channel to "only play unwatched". Even after this, That 70s Show doesnt populate on the FOX channel. What the hell am I doing wrong?
