How's it look?

Oh, FWIW it's still doing this for the new beta versions.

I note there are errors in the log e.g.

ADDON::CSkinInfo::TranslateResolution invalid resolution specified for

but whether these are significant or not I don't know, though I'd guess they're skin related and not relevant to the tearing.

You didn't have debugging on from the beginning, so there's information that I was looking for missing from the log (specifically the video setup). Are you running XBMC fullscreen or in a window? Can you enable debugging then close XBMC and start it again then try playing the "Groin Extrapolation" video again, and post another log.

You have the refresh rate set to 30Hz interlaced. Can you try a non-interlaced refresh rate? If your TV will only do 1080i you could try using 1280 x 720 at 60Hz.

Set it in Windows.

XBMC thinks it's 30Hz interlaced. For example, from your log:

NOTICE: Found screen: Generic PnP Monitor on NVIDIA ION, adapter 0.
NOTICE: Primary mode: 1920x1080 @ 30.00i - Full Screen

and:

INFO: GUI format 1920x1080 1920x1080 @ 30.00i - Full Screen

Gotcha. I'll try it here shortly. Any idea what to do if I can't change it?

Ok I think that I got it into the right mode. It's now at 60 but I'm still seeing tearing.
