Hey compcentral, i just signed up on your site for the alpha testing. This program sounds like it is exactly what I have been looking for to handle my (albeit modest) music collection.

I noticed that you have support for nzbmatrix, any chance that nzbs.org or mysterbin will be added in the future?

I've never heard of "mysterbin" before but, yes, multiple nzb providers will be added in the future.

While being compensated for my time would be great and I will gladly accept donations, right now I have no plans to charge anything for the program. I suppose this could always change someday. This project is still fairly far from being complete.

Hmm.. I'll have to see why that happened, but no need to be concerned...

I also own http://www.imob-codes.com and for now, I just threw the audio-matic.com site into a subfolder (http://www.imob-codes.com/am) and masked the url so this wasn't apparent to the end user. When I have the extra money to get some hosting space dedicated to Audio-Matic, this won't be needed.

Still, you shouldn't have been redirected there... unless maybe your passwords didn't match since I think I redirect to the session referrer in that case and this could be wrong due to the masking. Thanks for letting me know though. I'll do some testing and see if I can figure out what happened. Did you get the confirmation email with the activation link?

EDIT: After a little digging in the code and some testing, I made a few changes that might solve this problem, but could never replicate the symptoms in my testing. Everything seems to be working fine. If you can narrow down what you did before being redirected that would help. Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

I'm starting to think it is something with my e-mail (it's nontraditional @Zips.uakron.edu), or a problem on my end in general. Now I'm getting an error,

"Registration Failed
We're sorry, but an error has occurred and your registration for the username , could not be completed.
Please try again at a later time."

I'm going to try a different computer later today and see if that solves it if not I'll have to try to make a new e-mail address.

It could also be that your username was already in the database. I just removed it so you can try to re-create the account. Eventually I will provide a more informative error message, but I think that was at least part of the problem.

Have been patiently watching this thread for weeks!!

Tried to signup but when i click register nothing happens, have just tried in Chrome and IE8

Sorry again for the registration/login troubles. I'm not sure why, but the changes I made to fix this earlier didn't "stick" for some reason. It's very strange... almost like someone was sabotaging my code, but there is only one other person that has access to the web server that I'm using... very odd indeed. Anyway, it should be fixed AGAIN.
