Not sure what is consuming so much memory. I don't have anything else external to the OS running on the box except nito/xbmc.

What I would do: Restore from ipsw of stock (hopefully 4.2.1) and verify functionality, YouTube, netflix, etc. If everything looks good, re-JB it (with seas0npass, which will erase everything again) and then try for nitotv, xbmc official, then update to nightly.
IF the issue continues, maybe it's bad hardware or something?
Jump the IRC channel if you get a chance, #xbmc-ios on freenode and maybe we can troubleshoot it so more if you don't wanna go thru all of that.
