The texture issue is only with the latest, April version is fine. I'll put the official release on after deinstalling.
iLLNESS Wrote:after a recent upgrade to a nightly, i noticed alot of my favorite video plugins are now missing (most notably revision3).
is this a known issue? i can't seem to find anyone else mentioning it.
I've tried completely removing xbmc, reinstalling official build and then to this build and still missing the plugins.

iLLNESS Wrote:thanks.
seems silly though as revision3 was an addon that atleast for me, worked perfectly :o
Addz Wrote:Just wondering if anyone else is having issues playing xvid mkv rips
It seems to stutter during playback I am using the latest nightly.
dominion Wrote:I have a problem playing videos that i have made with my home camera (CANON HF100). The videos are shot in full hd,
this is a part of the log that indicates that the video cannot be played:

What can be the problem, missing codec?
dominion Wrote:Can anyone confirm, is this a bug or is the XBMC on AppleTV not capable of playing this kind of files, if the latetst then i can stop trying ?
Also installed the latetst nightly but no change.

Looks like the container support isn't that great and quite likely not an atv2 problem
dominion Wrote:Thanks for searching, but the last reaction is from 2009, that is 2 years ago.
To what can i convert this video but still keep the highest possible quality
Ned Scott Wrote:I have not experience such an issue with my AVI files. There is nothing about the file simply being .avi that will cause this. You will have to give us your debug log and/or media info on the .avi in question for us to see what is going on for you.

chuckles Wrote:Hardware decoding is only for h264 so if they're HD xvids you would get stuttering.
Might need to post some more info on your rips
maxsql Wrote:my avi's are mostly xvid. mkv's with h.264 are always playing fine.
so there is no good way for decoding of xvid?
