Random failed to initialize audio problem
#1
XBMC Live 10.1 (also tried on 10.0)
i686
installed from usb stick
SVN: It says "Git: unknown" (?!)
Codec and container: I have tried all: flac, mp3, ogg, h264, divx to name a few.

The audio will work or fail at random - leaving me with the error "Failed to initialize audio". The only workaround is to reboot and pray. Sometimes it needs several reboots before it works. Then, if I for some other reason need to reboot again, the audio can also get messed up again.

I have checked the forums, google and IRC channel.
I have turned menu sounds off.
I've tried all available skins, as well as aeon.

I am just using stereo and playing it from the jack output.

This is totally ruining my XBMC experience. Especially after I enabled WOL.
Please help.

I am also having the same issue. Random Failed to initalize audio. Have to reboot and pray as well. I have an nVidia HDMI Video card install but only use it for video. For audio I use the intergated audio from the motherboard. Can anyone please help with this.

I also forgot to mention that I'm also using an nVidia card with HDMI, but using DVI. My audio is integrated on the MB as well.

Today I also got a kernel panic, so I will post the stderr output as soon as I locate the log.
Guess this post is just a bump'n pray..
