[RELEASE] seeon.tv
0.2.0 works perfectly. It auto updated the already installed seeon.tv to azwatch, i can watch mtv with no issue. wished more worthwhile channels would load up like usa and syfy

My xbmc nightly is compile 10/9/11 and used tom's repo 1.0.3
I always see this in the XBMC log. It's there after every startup.

21:10:03 T:12316 ERROR: XFILE::CFileCache::Open - failed to open source <http://github.com/t0mm0/t0mm0-xbmc-plugins/raw/master/addons.xml.md5>

21:10:03 T:12316 ERROR: Repository t0mm0's XBMC Addons returned no add-ons, listing may have failed

t0mm0's repo is working fine though. Win 7x64 recent nightly.
Maybe that is related to why the repo is empty for some people?
I don't see that error on ATV2.
Just an FYI the Geexbox xbmc distro treated tommo's repository as if it doesn't exist.
I can browse to the .zip file but nothing happens when I try to install it.

I had no problems on XP.

I've settled on an OS for my main media PC and can't wait to re-install this & check it out.

Thanks.!

please can we move this discussion into the relevant thread so all the info can be kept together.

we really need debug logs rather than 'nothing happens' - can you post them on pastebin and reply over on the correct thread? it would be interesting if this is an example of the problem not occurring on a recent windows 7 nightly build.

thanks,

t0mm0
I just tried messing around with your repo. The repo is not blank but I can't install anything. Nothing in the log. And your right that I can't get updates.
Seems like xbmc doesn't like your repo. Or the url.
Hmm, looks like it is working now(t0mm0's repo) after updating xbmc.

I just installed XBMCSetup-20111116-57ba0cb-master.exe 16-Nov-2011 11:07 on my Win7 x64 box.

After startup, a bunch of addons got updated.
Went to t0mm0's repo and azwatch was there now. (It wasn't before updating to this nightly). Awatch installed fine. So I thought.(see below)
I did see errors in the log about this and a few other repos.

Ok now I just restarted xbmc. And now when I go to t0mm0's repo in xbmc, azwatch is not there and seeon.tv is there again. Can't install anythihng form this repo anymore.
And looks like azwatch got deleted. I installed Jazz FM which got deleted.
Worldwide weather is another that I installed and configured, deleted also.
2 addons that got updated after the first startup after updating the nightly, got updated again after the second xbmc startup. Like the first update didn't stick.

Somthing weird going on in xbmc.
The new azwatch.tv addon has been working fine till today. Here's the log file.

looks like the site no longer has a channel list Sad

edit: actually i can't find a working azwatch stream anywhere on sites that link to azwatch anyway - looks like it is all down at the moment

Well I went to azwatch.tv and I could still login with the account I had setup and it lets me login, but I noticed there's no "Channeld" link at the top like usual. Can't find channels can't watch? Then I did a google search with just "azwatch" as the search. Third link down was to this

http://www.azwatch.tv/view/22658/

Went there and that channel was working.

The channels page was http://www.azwatch.tv/channels. Go there now and get Http 404

yeah, i did try that, but it didn't work for me. after further investigation, there is something i don't understand about how this site works. if i go to a channel page in incognito mode in my browser it works the first time but not after that. i'm guessing there is some weird cookie thing going on but haven't bothered to track it down as i can just close the browser window and open a new incognito window again.

so as i feared when i initially released the azwatch update they have changed the streaming server IP addresses (to 38.101.127.106 this time). i can update the addon so that it points to the new servers and hope they don't change every few days. this will enable the .strm method of playing channels, but as there is no channel list any more the addon will be pretty useless on its own.

yeah, like i said before, they have removed the channel list.

i have yet to find another site that lists seeon/azwatch stuff reliably.

i know that they had a problem with the seeon site. is it back up yet?
quiet storm iii Wrote:i know that they had a problem with the seeon site. is it back up yet?

see the post above yours Wink
This plugin today behaves differently. It does not give an error anymore but produces a blank page.....What gives.?
azwatch went down now too
http://www.ilive.to/view/23523/ appears to be the latest reincarnation of seeon/azwatch.
