Can't think of this is a skin issue. You've tried with Confluence to see what happens?

If i have a fresh install it works then i change to mq 2 and then it doesn't work and if i change back it still doesn't work.

Just did a fresh install with XBMC 11.0 and MQ3 and the movies loaded like a dream but then again when i added the series source it just loaded for a cpl of secs then the box disappeared :S!

yeah because it have worked before. I just added the source and it found all my series. Then when i added my 2nd series drive a week after that and tryed to add them the search for new content didn't work and thats how it all started ;<

Sorry for bringing such an old post to life but I'm having the exact same problem. So I'm wondering if you solved this, if so how did you do?
