Update for today:
I have most of the stuff "working" in the sense of: I like what is happening. There is another issue I need to look.
When copying the intermediate buffer the sink consumes it, but afterwards AudioTrack does not like to continue - it just stays at its first position. We will see.

With 20160123-b8d0a7c after I run a True HD test clip, The Kodi Log Uploader refuses to upload the log. Before running the test clip, it uploads just fine. Tried mulitple times, restarting both Kodi and the Shield.
@fritsch: Something specific you want me to test out, I'm available all day, so let me know.

Does TrueHD work with that build? Can you get the logfile via file browser?

Use case: just start truehd, see what happens, press stop and upload the log. Sadly it seems xbmclogs.com is kind of down :-(
