Capital letters matters. Everything, including "ios" needs to be in lowercase letters.

its all lowercase and still didn't work....unsure if i just put it in caps when typing it here or not. i entered http//mirrors.xmbc.org/apt/ios.

any other suggestions?

forgot to mention I tried that to. Is there something in that repository directory that may be missing for it to be recognized as a source? I can get to the link from a website and I can install the 10.0.9 deb file manually when i download it on the ipad, but unsure if I would be missing anything by not doing it correctly as mentioned on the wiki....thanks

had :

this is what i put for source:
http://mirrors.xmbc.org/apt/ios and also http://mirrors.xmbc.org/apt/ios/

when I add source i get this error message:

Did not Find Repository
The indicated repository could not be found. This could be because you are trying to add a legacy Installer repository (these are not supported). Also, this interface is only capable of working with exact repository URLs.

Any ideas?

Another note. Tried to get to the repository with 2 other ipod touch devices and had the same issue so i think the repository is messed up somehow

Code:
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/ios/

works for me and for thousands of others, somehow I think the issue is on your end

Did you actually remove the source and then try and add it again?

have you tried it within the last few days? How the heck can I mess it up? Do you have any suggestions? Can you just remove your source and try to add it again? Do you help out on here?

How can I install it so it will yake without adding as a source? Or is there another workaround?

I have just done it on a new ipad2, 5 minutes ago, short of me taking a picture with a latest newspaper just to prove to you that I did, no idea what else you want me to say Smile

try accessing mirrors.xbmc.org from your ipad safari and see if you see it on there
