[Windows] Seperate, automatic Video Database refresh during startup
#1
Hi,

I have a really great movie database and some tv shows. My XBMC is set up to scan for new videos during startup. This takes nearly 6 Minutes until it comes to an end. Sad So - here is my question.

Is it possible to seperate the scan of movies and tv-shows during startup!? I think it is more useful to have one switch for movies and another one for tv-shows, because i update my shows very often an my movies maybe once a week. When i empty the movie database, the refresh of 60 shows with no new entry takes only seconds and not minutes. Nod

Thanx in advance

No its not possible to have separate scans for TV and Movies but you can use "Exclude path from library updates" which is available in the "Set Content" window on the source folder or any folders below it

No point scanning a source if your not adding to it any more Smile

X,

I'm running 10.1 and I have that checked on all my drives except "N drive" however XBMC still checks them all, even though in set content I have it checked to NOT scan during library update.

Any ideas?

Here is a debug log which clearly shows all drives are still being scanned:

Thank-you in advance.

Looks like from your log it only happens with TV ?

It didn't work for me for TV but I'm using a DSPlayer build and thought it was a bug in that version but maybe not ?
