Hello,

first post - so sorry if I make any mistakes..

I have been trying to install XBMC on my appleTV2. The ATV2 is jailbroken, and I have nitoTV installed, which should make installing XBMC a piece of cake.

But everytime I try installing from nitoTV I get the same error message:

"E: Couldn't find package org.xbmx.xbmc-atv2"

I have also tried installing XBMC from my Mac to my ATV2, by ssh'ing into the ATV2 but I get the same error message here.

I suspect that XBMC have moved the package "org.xbmx.xbmc-atv2" to a different location, but I have not been able to find the new location..

I hope some of the smart people here have an answer for me!!

I am in the exact same situation and have been trying for 2 days now to figure this out. :confused2: Any help from the experts here would be greatly appreciated!!!!
I am jailbroken with pwnage tool and also tried ssh to install as well.
ATV2 4.2.2

this might do the trick:
ssh into your ATV2 then run this

apt-get update
apt-get -u upgrade

go into NitoTv and try again it should work
