I currently have a old 3Com router that says it is 108Mps b/g. Will this be fast enough to stream from my unRaid machine to a XBMC Live or openELEC machine over a wired LAN?
If not, recommendations for a new router?

It probably only transfer at 11MB/s. If your going to stream hd content, I would get a router with gigabit ports.

Basically the 108mbps is referring to an enhanced wireless g format, this is no good for streaming HD content but if the router has any 100mbps wired ports then you could use it as a switch and stream HD fine. You don't need gigabit Ethernet for HD.
