Move XBMC PC library to Apple TV 2
#1
Hi all,

I'm in the process of move my XBMC currently installed on a PC to an Apple TV 2nd Gen and I wanted to know if someone knows what's the easiest way to move my library without losing all the watched/unwatched episodes. I suppouse I should do something with the database, but don't know exactly what.

All my videos are stored on a NAS, so the path to the videos will be the same.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I would try with exporting your library to a separate nfo files from settings. Not sure if it preserves watched status but that is painless to try. Maybe export to a single nfo would work for you, too.
My skins:

Amber
Quartz

Export the library from your pc. setup a stand alone mysql database for your atv2 . You will want the stand alone database after the first time you have to update your atv2.
it just makes life so much easier.

Thanks for the replies.

Is there any guide on how to setup XBMC with mysql? I already have a mysql server on my network.

Thanks
