I develop and test on all sorts of hardware, but when I want to sit back and enjoy XBMC I use a Mac Mini. Expensive, but original and best! :-)

Several IONs - Revo, Asrock 330
Server doubles as main XBMC machine - M3N78-EM Mobo, BE-2350 CPU, 2Gigs RAM, several disks (1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB) powered by several USB thumbs testing PVR branch, nightlies, OpenELEC and all sorts of combinations/crazy stuff.

VirtualBOX equipped HP laptop to do some more build and test. All equipped with various flavors of Linux.

Mac mini (2.26ghz, 2gb) on os x for main HTPC, also a 14in iBook (1.33 ghz, 1.25gb) as a secondary.

I want to build a small ultra low power computer (probably with windows 7), just for fun, but I don't have the dollars for it right now.

Acer Revo 1600 \ Single Core Atom 230 1.6 ghz CPU \ Nvidia ION 1 GPU \ 2GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
XBMC 10.1 \ DXVA 2 enabled \ DDS fanart enabled

Skins dont run as smooth as they do my Core i3 3.06 ghz 4GB iMac. but with all fanart, poster art, and background images converted to .DDS skins run smooth enough

System has no problem with high bit rate 1080p video with DXVA enabled.
