Hi,
I need to upgrade from my QNAP 4 bay as I've run out of slots for expansion. Originally I decided on UNraid but then changed my mind to Flexraid as I wanted to use the machine for more than just storage.

So my question is can you recommend which MOBO, Procesor etc I need for a good build. The machine will run Windows 7, XBMC, Flexraid and serve as the HTPC for the bedroom. I've already decided on the Fractal Design R3 for a case but that's about it.

to me, multi-tasking = Quad CPU.....

well... Under Windows,

if you dont need 3D playback,
