To make it as easy as possible to get the weather icons back for us ATV2 XBMC'ers, I've copied the missing weather.zip file to my dropbox account. The following four commands are all you need to run:

cd /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/media
wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1810573/weather.zip
unzip weather.zip
mv 64x64 128x128 /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/temp/weather

Simply copy & paste each line and you're ready to go
