I have a script that reboots the apple tv once a day to avoid the memory leak with the Crystal HD card. After reboot, I want to issue a command to start XBMC.

None. XBMC is launched from frontrow.

ssh in and do

defaults write com.teamxbmc.xbmclauncher XBMCExpertMode 1

Then in Frontrow go to Launcher -> Settings: Enable Multifinder and choose XBMC as the fault app (select "Toggle" until it says XBMC is the default application.

Now you won't need to issue a command. Whenever your ATV1 boots up it will open XBMC.

the problem with that is that remote hd does not start without frontrow starting
