import video library
#1
So basicly i exported the video library from old machine (all the media was on D:\ drive) now when i imported the library to the new machine everything is fine except that the path is wrong, because all the media on the new machine is now on E:\ drive, so what would be the solution for this so i dont have to re-scrape everything?

I saw in the videodb.xml "<path>D:\..</path>", so if i could somehow mass change the letter to E maybe?

Any decent text editor will allow a search and replace, yes.

Yes i know that, but i have to make then about 600 search and replaces to replace the old letter to new, i was looking for an automated way.

Nevermind, i found a solution with vbs script to automatically find all the old drive letters and replace with desired new drive letter.
If somebody need to do this i've attached everything in archive with instructions how to do it.

Again, any text editor will do that, including notepad.
