I know there is a similar thread located here but it doesn't quite seem to be the same problem I am having.
I noticed about a month ago that whenever I would start up xbmc it would freeze on me, and I had to keep pressing ctrl+alt+del to exit and try to start up xbmc again. It turns out that that was a problem with the svn version of the neon skin.
Now right after I fixed that issue, I noticed that whenever I had xbmc closed for a period of time (not exactly sure how long) and I would start it up again and then play a video, after a few minutes, the video would freeze for about 10 seconds while the audio kept on playing, and then eventually the audio would freeze too. I would then have to exit xbmc using ctrl+alt=del and restart xbmc. Once I restarted the problem would happen to me once more, and then after another restart, everything would be fine.
Up until now, I haven't been able to catch it on a debug log, but I finally was able to today (my wife is out).
Here is the log:

I don't think it is a problem with the video file, as it happens with any video i play, and as I stated, once I restart a few times, the video works fine.
::EDIT:: It has happened twice more in different places in the same video file.

::EDIT 2:: I think it has something to do with the trakt script. i noticed that trakt doesn't seem to be initializing when I start xbmc as it should, rather AFTER i start playing a video. For some reason, trakt doesn't start when I first start xbmc. When I tried to start it manually, it took over 60 seconds for it to actually start. This same thing happens when I try to run the logo downloader sctipt as well.
