Hi all,

I have an automated setup where new content is added to my SMB shares and metadata is generated however to get it on to my ATV2 XBMC I need to manually update the library. Is there any way currently to refresh the library at a regular interval please?

I read somewhere that cron is not available for atv2 so open to any other suggestions?

There was an add-on for this in the add-on browser, but it's outdated. I just came across this which should work on the ATV2:

Download the zip file, transfer it over to the ATV2 using Filezilla or Cyberduck and place it in
var/mobile/

then go to System -> Add-ons -> install from zip

select "home folder" and you will see the zip file you just transferred over.
