Okay this is weird. I had audio working fine on my HDTV via XBMC (connected via my HDMI cable). But now it is not working. It just stopped some time yesterday, and was working previous. I did not do anything different.

1) Can play ITUNES movies fine via ITUNES. Good audio on HDTV.
2) Can play web pages sound fine
3) Can play HULU web site fine

Looked at all the settings in XBMC and no changes. Nothing makes any difference.

using latest stable version of XBMC. Maybe I need to use a nightly build?

have you do these-
1.control panel>hardware and sound>sound (make sure that audio output is still set to the correct hdmi ouput)
2.xbmc>system>settings>audio ouput (hdmi) and speaker config to match your hdtv speakers>select audio wasapi: hdmi)
