how to map the mouse wheel to one of the keyboard key?

In XBMC v10.1 (the current version) the mouse isn't configurable. This has changed in the development builds (from http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/) but I think the nightly builds are a little shaky at the moment.

What are you trying to do? There might be a way to get the same end result.

The mouse wheel give me the options to seek the movie very fast forward or backward, and I want to map it to some keyboard key > so I can map this keyboard key to my remote control and use it by the RC (I'm using firefly RC)

Ah I see.

There isn't a keyboard action that does the same as the mousewheel. The arrow keys jump by a set amount, or you can type in a time to jump to, or you can fast forward or rewind.
