i noticed that i have two movie posters for the same film, i think this is because i have a film which is split into 2 files, how can i make xbmc think that both files are 1 complete film

there alot of cleaning to do for me

Remove them from your library. name them something like 'movie-cd1' and 'movie-cd2' and rescan library.

thanks... they were called 'movies - 1' and 'movies - 2', but I add the cd bit and do i need to spaces also?

What is the pre-eden nightly build? im using win7

i just downloaded xbmc for win7 and changed the skin to AEON NOX...

Don't think it mathers if you spaces or not.
It's also better to put every movie in its own folder if you have not done that yet.
Pre-eden is the newer version of the one i think you're using 'dharma 10.1'
It's still in development so just stick with your version for the moment.

Here a tool that can do a lot of thing. One thing is sort files into folders. Does take some patience to get this working how you want.
The "extrathumbs" are also used bij Nox

Hello

Rename your files as suggested above and then go into settings and clean your library, you can then rescan the source to update your library

when i click on Video from the main menu

then it shows Movies >Recently added movies> playlist>video add-ons

Hello a couple of methods...

Try video>files and then select the source and press c then update library.

This is after you have renamed the files and gone into settings to clean the library to avoid any duplicate entries

Go to the movie in question, press C, remove from library, yes. Then do an Update Library. If you're just doing a couple movies, this is faster than doing a full clean.

You're in the wrong screen. You need to be in the Movie screen in library mode. You're in the video file screen.
