Hi there

I have recently come accross XMBC. I played around with it a bit for a media PC and am loving it... I now want to get the right nettop box (or custome build solution) to be able to do the following:

- Play 1080p and 720p withot glitches (rewind and fast forward should also work smoothly)
- MUST be silent
- must work with my MCE remote (this is obviously XMBC related)

I currently have an ASUS Oplay HD2 and its silent (cannot be heard in the middle of the night). It also plays all my video formats up to 1080p perfectly but it has a crappy UI (therfore I want to change and not to mention how customaisable XMBC is)

I had MCE2005 before the Oplay and wouldve gone back to that if it wasnt for the LOUD PC that ran it.

Currently I have 3 options:

Go for the
1. ZBOX - IDE41E
2. ZBOX - AD02E
3. Custom build with the folling specs:
- MSI E350IA-E45 Motherboard with AMD Fusion CPU and ATI 6150 GPU
- 2GB DDR3 Ram
- WD 250 2.5" HDD
- Cooler Master CH-CE100 Case (http://www.comx-computers.co.za/CH-CE100...-30217.php)
