In response to another thread here that posted the roadmap for future versions of XBMC, I have a question that I hope some developers could answer.
I do not see anywhere in the roadmap, up to version 13 "G" anything about making the MySQL installation any easier, as far as thumbs are concerned. I seem to remember a while ago something was supposed to be done to incorporate the thumbs into the MySQL Db so that we wouldn't have to do any workarounds "Syncing, symbolic links, etc." when using the MySQL DB.
Please don't take this as a complaint as I appreciate all of the work done by the developers but I was mainly just wondering, is this still on the radar or has it been determined that it is not possible to do? Could someone update us on any development or point me somewhere that could provide some insight?
