I'll be using W7 because it will also serve as a BD player. So, unfortunately, W7!

Thanks, I have been looking at these cases for a while and eskro has been kind enough to answer my questions. I know they do a fan-less version will see it can take that chip. I presume this does not suffer the stuttering this happens with the intel chips.

I can't say for actual performance. My MB was DOA, so I'm still waiting for a replacement. As soon as I build the HTPC, I'll post a thread with the details.

The MB has shipped, so hopefully monday! I'll also get a 2nd PSU, so I am covered unless the 2nd MB is also DOA.
