Do you have SSH server installed/enabled?
You have it jail broken, right?

I have jail broken.
I'm looking at previews on the Apple TV box so i know the internet connect it good.
How do I install SSH server.. I thought I just download Putty and run it.
1st time trying anything like this.

You'll need to ssh to the IP address of the ATV2. Sometimes the Bonjour addresses (appletv.local) don't always work. You can get the IP address from either your router or from the ATV2's network settings. It will be a group of four numbers, like 192.168.0.3 or 10.0.0.4, or something like that.

umm..
If i access the router's admin panel is it in there ?
Also how to i access ATV2's network settings ?

I would suspect that the router's admin panel would be a good place to look. On the ATV2 you can get to the network settings via
Settings ->General -> Network

how to i check if it's Jailbroken.
I did all the steps and I'm nearly sure it is jail broken.
Is there a way to check ?

I dont think i did it right.. i remember the restore thing and i dont think i did it right.

I remember towards the end it asked me to open a file while in itune..
when file should it be ?
