I'd like to upgrade my installation of XBMC to the new Eden beta today. But before I do I've got some questions.
XBMC is installed on a late 2010 Mac Mini. In order to solve stuttering problems it was recommended that Mac Mini users stuck with the factory installed version of Snow Leopard. I have done that, but I was curious to know, is that still true? Or is it safe to upgrade to the latest version of Snow Leopard now if I follow it up with upgrading to Eden?
Secondly, I was curious to know if there is a proper way to upgrade from Dharma to Eden? Is it just a matter of backing up the user data directory and replacing the binaries with the new version? Or is there some additional clean up work that is recommended? Thanks!
