I run XBMC on my laptop right now and love. The only problem I have is I don’t leave my laptop up and running all the time. I am looking for a cheap way to have XBMC up and running on demand. If ATV will work for a hundred bucks I can’t go wrong. All my files are on a network drive. Will ATV play my video files just like my computer? Also I use control4 home automation to control XBMC over IP. Will I still be able to use the same IP commands to control the ATV over IP. Thanks a link on how to load XBMC on ATV would also be helpful. Thanks

dunno about control4, but for play all your files from your network drive the answer is yes, and works really good.

It will not be able to play or stream HD xvid files properly though. Your HD files should be in h264 format.
