Hi,
Long time reader, first time poster.
I've recently completed building a WHS 2011 box, and have been successfully using it to stream media over SMB for the XBMC Eden Beta. I have been trying to set it to share over NFS as some of my HD files lag, stutter, and buffer using SMB. When the file is played locally, there are no issues, so It's not an issue pertaining to the XBMC client computer.
So. Back on point. The NFS share has been set as the Video directory on the server. Within the video directory is Films (avi, mkv, mp4 ect), DVD (DVD rips, mkv, avi, mp4, iso, ts, ect), TV (avi, mkv, mp4). Each sub directory contains the video files in folders, ie. Videos/films/Die Hard (1989)/Die hard (1989).mp4
The WHS 2011 machine shows up when adding content, and I can add the Videos directory. The videos directory is not openable.
Any ideas?
Can I provide any more information?
Thanks in advance.
Chris
