hey, is there any way to play .rar files from direct links/web?!

1st try: i tried with .strm files, no sucess. it seems .strm files only support "normal" movie files from web?! is this a bug?

2nd try: i tried to change the database entry from a local file.
rar://localhost%2ftest123%2fcontagion%2erar/contagion.avi
unescaped it should look like
rar://localhost/test123/contagion.rar/contagion.avi
i also tried with
rar://127.0.0.1...
rar://http://local...
rar://http://127.0.0.1...

no sucess
any hints/tips for me i could try?

rar:// is not a location... a rar would be on a server, such as an HTTP server or an FTP server.
