I've seen a few threads asking if this is possible and it seems not. I'm using XBMC live, dharma.
With media stored on USB drives, the drives are auto-mounted to /media/XXX. I tried mounting them elswhere in fstab but XBMC still picks them up.
XBMC automatically lists these mounted drives as media sources in Videos and Music. This is a bit irritating, as it clutters up the listing.
It would be better if media sources were completely explicit, with nothing automatically listed.
